We are starting to host Family Camps in order to provide that intentional time for families to come together, to be poured into spiritually, and to foster stronger family relationships in a setting that feels both fun and restorative.

From D-Now to Today: The Evolution of Family Camp

While this is the first formal Family Camp hosted by the team at BlueSky, there have been earlier versions of the concept. During COVID-19, a smaller-scale camp modeled in a family style called "D-Now" was held, and a mini version of Family Camp took place as a tent-camping experience. However, this event at Brackenhurst marks the first large-scale, formal Family Camp, offering a more structured and immersive experience.

Fun for the Whole Family: Parents and Children Alike

One of the most exciting aspects of Family Camp is the opportunity it gives parents to experience the same level of fun and spiritual enrichment that their children enjoy at camp. Many times, parents have shared how they wish they could join in on the fun their kids get to have during events like worship nights.
