Lukenya is Nairobi’s premier climbing destination. Located 40 KM from Nairobi, Lukenya is perfect for day trips. There is something here for everyone! Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned climber, interested in Trad or Sport, Single or Multi-pitch climbs,
HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK
Hell’s Gate National Park is located in the Great Rift Valley near Lake Naivasha. Hell’s Gate is a picturesque location where you can climb alongside Zebra, Antelope, Buffalo, Warthogs, and Giraffe. Practice your crack climbing skills on Fischer’s Tower, and the larger multi-pitch walls.
TWIN PEAKS
Twin Peaks is one of Nairobi’s newest rock climbing destinations and is located in the Rift Valley near Mai Mahiu. This is the perfect location for the intermediate climber looking to experience a new challenge near the city without the hustle of long trips.

HIKING TRIPS
There are many fantastic day hikes available near Nairobi that offer breathtaking views and memorable experiences. Some popular options include the scenic Gong Hills, where you can enjoy sweeping vistas of the surrounding landscapes; Mount Longonot, which features a stunning crater and challenging trails; and Elephant Hill, known for its beautiful terrain and rich biodiversity.

MT.KENYA
Climb to the top of Kenya with a trip to the summit of Batian. BlueSky Expeditions will help equip you, train you, and guide you through this journey to achieve your ultimate dream; climb of a lifetime!

MT.SUSWA
Suswa is a dormant volcano located west of Nairobi and is perfect for a weekend getaway. Here you will camp on the crater rim, rappel and explore the caves, and can hike to the summit of Suswa!

OLOLOKWE
There is something here for everyone. Suitable for all experience levels, climb Kenya’s big wall or hike to the top of Ololokwe, come experience the magic of northern Kenya with BlueSky Expeditions.

CAT & MOUSE
Located in Samburu country, these two desert towers beckon the spectator to climb them. You can also combine this trip with climbing and hiking around Ololokwe with BlueSky Expeditions.
