BlueSky Camp Director

Overview:

The counselor’s primary role will be to work alongside BlueSky’s full-time Camp staff and fellow counselors to care for, play with, and guide campers as they engage in fun activities, adventurous challenges, and spiritually-rich community. We want campers to be led by a staff of Christian young adults who are eager to nurture them and create an environment of love, acceptance, and growth. Our campers are multinational students living in Nairobi, Kenya and around East Africa.

Nairobi is an extremely diverse city due to the presence of the United Nations, numerous embassies, and international schools. Currently, BlueSky is the only ministry specifically aimed at reaching the multinational student community. This is a unique ministry, as these students (the sons and daughters of diplomats, military personnel, business and government leaders, and missionaries) are likely to become the national and world leaders of the future. There is a great need for them to know Christ and grow deeper in their faith! A counselor will engage in and learn about ministry in a multicultural context while being part of a seasonal team of international peers under the guidance and mentorship of an established leadership team.
